RaceCore is committed to protecting users' privacy and processing personal data in a transparent, secure manner, compliant with applicable data protection legislation.

This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, for what purposes we use it, with whom we may share it, how long we retain it, and what rights you may exercise when using the RaceCore app and the related website.

2. Personal Data We Collect

In the future, RaceCore may allow the purchase or management of registration for races and sporting events.

Payments may be managed via specialist external providers. RaceCore will not retain complete payment card data, unless otherwise explicitly stated in the documentation of the payment provider used.

3. Purposes of Processing

3.1 Provision of the RaceCore service

We use data to:

  • create and manage your account;

  • allow you to search, view and save races;

  • show you content consistent with your preferences;

  • manage app settings;

3.2 Personalisation of the experience

We may use race preferences, age range and, if provided, gender, to improve the in-app experience and make the search for races more useful and relevant.

Gender is optional data and may be used to improve aggregate statistics, filters, preferences or features linked to the user experience.

3.3 Analytics and app improvement

With your optional consent, we may use analytics tools, including Firebase Analytics, to:

  • understand how the app is used;

  • improve features, user experience and performance;

  • identify technical issues;

  • analyse aggregate usage statistics;

  • improve the quality of race search and display.

Consent to analytics is optional. You can use RaceCore without providing this consent.

3.4 Security, diagnostics and abuse prevention

5. Consents in the App

Within the RaceCore app we may ask you to express certain choices regarding terms, privacy and consents. In particular:

  • consent to marketing and commercial communications is optional.

6. Use of Firebase and Third-Party Services

RaceCore uses or may use services provided by third parties for the correct functioning of the app, for analytics, hosting, technical monitoring, security and communications.

These services may include Firebase, provided by Google, in particular for analytics and app usage analysis features.

Data processed via Firebase may include:

  • technical information about the device;

  • app usage events;

  • interactions with app features;

  • diagnostic data;

  • aggregate information on how the service is used.

RaceCore configures these tools with the aim of limiting data collection to what is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

The use of Firebase Analytics for analysis and app improvement purposes is based on the user's optional consent, where required.

RaceCore does not sell your personal data.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent the receipt of necessary service communications, such as those relating to the account, security or important service changes.

RaceCore is not intended for users under the age of 14.
